The Wake Forest Parks & Recreation Department is sponsoring its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24, at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road. Children ages 3 and younger will hunt for eggs beginning at 10 a.m.; ages 4-6 will begin at 11
a.m.; ages 7-9 get underway at 1 p.m.; and ages 10-12 get started at 2 p.m.
Event organizers will hide over 3,000 Easter eggs. Kids who discover the rare golden eggs will receive a special prize. In the event of inclement weather, the Easter Egg Hunt will be moved inside the Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St.
